Laura Jay

Vice Principal

Laura began teaching in her home city of Coventry before moving to Leeds to continue her teaching career. She joined Dixons Trinity Chapeltown in 2018 as the very first Year 1 teacher.

Following this she took on the role of KS1 Lead Teacher and then Assistant Vice Principal, supporting her team to instill a love of learning and inspire young minds.

In 2022, Laura became Primary Vice Principal responsible for culture within the primary phase. This role is extremely important to her as she believes that every child should have access to the best quality teaching. Laura will ensure that every single student at Dixons Trinity Chapeltown will climb their mountain and enjoy the view when they reach the top.
